Tytułowe pytanie dręczy mnie i fanów muzyki klubowej od niemal dwóch dekad.
Dokładnie 10 lat temu forum społeczności muzycznej FTB.PL w jednym ze swoich artykułów napisało następującą wiadomość, w której promowało wydarzenie z klasyką muzyki klubowej:
„Kilka lat temu staraliśmy się znaleźć producenta tego hitu, aby przybliżyć go do naszego klubu. Nasz agent dowiedział się, że był to projekt stworzony specjalnie dla wytwórni, która wydała to nagranie, i tylko kilka osób wiedziało, kto stoi za tym pseudonimem.”
Postanowiłem jednak szukać dalej. I chyba znalazłem odpowiedź, która mówi, że Riva to projekt holenderskich producentów René ter Horsta i Gastona Steenkista.
Niektóre płyty Rivy nazywają ich Horst Pulmann i Guss Van Vlaanderen.
Niestety po porównaniu dźwięków użytych w produkcjach tych artystów do utworu Run Away, nie mogę stwierdzić, że twórcami byli wspomniani wyżej artyści, zwani też Chocolate Puma, jedno jest pewne, w utworze Run Away kryje się tajemnica i zapewne ktoś jeszcze też za tym stoi, myślę, że w niedalekiej przyszłości okaże się, kto jeszcze stworzył tę klasyczną klubową piosenkę, której brzmienie do dziś cieszy klubowiczów.

The title question has been tormenting me and club music fans for almost two decades. Exactly 10 years ago, the FTB.PL music community forum wrote the following message in one of its articles, promoting an event with classic club music: "A few years ago, we tried to find the producer of this hit to bring it closer to our club. Our agent found out that it was a project created specifically for the label that released the recording, and only a few people knew who was behind the moniker.'' However, I decided to keep looking. And I think I found the answer, which says that Riva is a project of Dutch producers René ter Horst and Gaston Steenkist. Some Riva records call them Horst Pulmann and Guss Van Vlaanderen. Comparing the sounds used in the productions of these artists to the song Run Away, unfortunately I cannot say that the creators were the above-mentioned artists, also called Chocolate Puma, one thing is certain, there is a secret in the song Run Away and probably someone else is behind it, I think that in the near future we will find out who else created this classic club song, the sound of which still pleases club members to this day.
